2000 James Jones First Novel Fellowship Winner's Novel to be Published

BEAUTIFUL SOMEWHERE ELSE by Stephen Policoff, winner of the 2000 James Jones
Fellowship, will be published next spring by Carroll & Graf.  Senior Editor
Tina Pohlman, hired by Carroll & Graf recently to expand their contemporary
American fiction line, says, "I couldn't put it down.  I wanted to publish
it it right away."  Pub date is early May
